  • Occupational therapy inquiry information that an adult chooses to provide.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent us from sending messages needed to complete a purchase, deliver a requested resource, manage a registration, respond to you, or provide a requested service.

Information About Children

Our website forms, store, and communications are intended for adults, including parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information directly through the website.

An adult may provide limited information about a child when registering for a group or workshop, requesting services, or completing a purchase. We use that information only for the relevant inquiry, registration, product, program, or service and for related legal or business requirements.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to us without appropriate adult involvement, please contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.

Occupational Therapy Inquiries and Sensitive Information

The shared website includes information about occupational therapy services offered through Infinite Sunshine. Please do not submit sensitive information about a child—including health, educational, disability, diagnostic, or treatment information—through the website’s general contact forms or standard email.

If documents are needed for occupational therapy services, Infinite Sunshine will provide instructions for submitting them through a designated secure method. A secure-upload request or secure-message invitation may be delivered to you by email, but sensitive documents should be submitted using the secure method identified in that message rather than attached to an ordinary email.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Website and online-store providers, including Wix;

  • Payment processors, including Square and PayPal;

  • Email, productivity, analytics, and communication providers, including Google and Mailchimp;

  • Secure document-transfer providers, such as MailHippo, when used for occupational therapy information;

  • Shipping, printing, marketplace, registration, or scholarship platforms needed to fulfill a purchase or requested service;

  • Professional advisers or service providers that support our business and are expected to protect the information they receive; and

  • Government authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or security.

If you follow a link to or complete a transaction through an outside platform, such as Amazon or a scholarship marketplace, that platform’s own privacy policy and practices also apply.

Wix and Data Storage

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix provides the website, online-store, form, contact-management, and related tools used to operate the site. Information submitted through the website may be stored through Wix’s data storage, databases, and applications and may be processed by Wix and its service providers in accordance with their policies.

Cookies and Analytics

Our website and its service providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate essential website and store functions;

  • Remember choices and preferences;

  • Understand website traffic and performance;

  • Improve the website and customer experience; and

  • Support communications or marketing features when enabled.

Some cookies are essential for the website to function. Other cookies may be used for functionality, analytics, or marketing. Where available, you can manage nonessential cookies through the website’s cookie settings. You can also control cookies through your browser, although disabling some cookies may affect website functions.

Third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies subject to their own privacy policies.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including completing transactions, providing requested resources or services, maintaining appropriate business and professional records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

Marketing subscription information may be retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to records needed to honor your opt-out preference. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no website, email system, electronic transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please use the designated secure method provided by Infinite Sunshine when submitting sensitive occupational therapy documents.

Your Choices and Privacy Requests

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or to withdraw consent for certain uses.

To make a privacy request, contact info@shineforkids.org. Please describe your request clearly. We may need to verify your identity before completing it, and some information may need to be retained for legal, transaction, security, professional, or recordkeeping purposes.

You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by selecting the unsubscribe link in a marketing email.
